Try going to the SEC Baseball schedule/scores page and click on the watch now link. You could test it by clicking on watch replay of one of the games already finished.

Mine does it all the time. I just log out and log back in. Had to do it when the game switched to espn 3 last night. I have regular DirecTV

Thread is moot. Watching espn3 on wstchespn app with my direct tv now login right now. Have all year. Never had a problem.

I understand. I was just stating to the OP I'm watching it without Logging in to DirecTV Now, and was wondering if he had that option to do that, as well.
Did he have the capability of watching it just on the standard WatchESPN App through his DirecTV...as an alternative, because that's the way I watch it.

If you have Cox Internet (doesn't have to be Cable) you can login with your Cox credentials instead of DTV Now and get Espn3
