Especially on 1st down so often. It was very low likelihood and got us behind on down and distance numerous times.

That's Les Miles level

Or on 2nd down when a 1st down pass was incomplete. We’ve become extremely predictable all season in those situations.

Doesn’t help that you have the weakest O-line in the SEC. All they can do is pass block

1st down air mail it, 2nd down run up the middle, 3rd down scramble and throw to someone out there

You take what the defense gives you.

If you insist on running at the strength of the A&M defense, at least dictate the front they are running by using the pass to open up the run.

Kelly pregame: “We need to avoid long third downs.”

Joe Sloan all game on 2nd and 10: “Let’s run between the tackles.”

Funny, in the 3rd quarter my wife screamed "they have more men on their side, pass the damn ball, they have 4 men covering 4 men, they will be wide open"

But she doesn't know nothing about football so her opinion doesn't count

They rarely ran on 1st down. It was 2nd and 10 up the middle after 1st and 10 bomb was incomplete

People don’t understand how difficult it is to call plays when you cannot run the ball even a little bit.

We ran early in the game with success. Then stopped.

Why continue running up the middle when you know it is NOT working?

Is it that difficult to call pass play on 2nd down?

Sure it makes it harder to execute but that should not make you predictable on the order. Deep pass, inside run, pass to wide boundary.

Best tackles in the game and you refuse to try any outside runs. It boggles my mind...

Did we? Excluding Nuss, we ran 17 times for 38 yards. We couldn’t run at all

I’m saying it’s difficult no matter what order you go in. If you can’t run it at all, it doesn’t matter if you run 1st or 2nd. If you can’t get anything in the run game and have to throw every down, it’s going to be tough against good pass rushers.

“It’s hard but we can’t change so keep trying the same thing”

That’s loser mentality. It was easy for Aggie to sell out yes because we cannot run the ball, but also you gave them the same recipe over and over on downs 1-3. Pass Run Hope hitch is open.

Dude, you have to try to run at least sometimes. SEC pass rushers will assault you in you don’t at least try to run sometimes.

We ran on 2nd down just about every series except at the end.. teams chart plays and when you keep doing the same thing over and over it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out.. there’s no imagination in LSU’s running game, it’s just “here’s the ball, now go do something with it”.. a running back can’t do it on his own without an offensive line that can’t block on running plays especially a center who has struggled the whole season but yet we keep running the ball right up his arse as he’s getting blown off the line of scrimmage for no gain or a loss.. something has to change, might work against the McNeese’s and the ULL’s but not against the aTm’s and the Bama’s…that’s BIG BOY football…
