Bible also says you shouldn't wear clothes made of multiple fabrics, don't eat seafood, and if you are within ten generations of someone who was born "illegitimately" then you can't go to church.

Tell the devil about how unjust God is when you meet him. If you can't see the wrong in one man poking another man up his poop shoot, then you are just plain stupid. God hasn't changed and he almost completely destroyed all humanity when they committed this sin in the past. Ever heard of Sodom and Gamorah? Yes you have. So your ignorance is not going to be an excuse. But in your defense, in the last days, mankind will turn back to this evil and think that every thing is fine. Sadly to say, it is not and the people who do this are going to be in deep cockca.

I'm not saying someone should beat you and your Westboro followers asses, but I'd understand.

As christians we are supposed to fear god but Im not a "god fearing son of a bitch" I am a god fearing son of a mother and father who taught me right from wrong and about a lord god who saves us from our sins and loves each and every one of us. I hope one day you will understand

People have been butt-fricking for a looooong time. It's lunacy to think there's some sort of causality between butt-fricking and demolishing a city.
If the Almighty were so goddman good at smiting the wicked, you'd think he could be a little more selective about it.

Bible also says you shouldn't wear clothes made of multiple fabrics
quote:
Deuteronomy 22:11: Do not wear clothes of wool and linen woven together.
No crawfish boils
quote:
Leviticus 11:9-12: This is what YOU may eat of everything that is in the waters: Everything that has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas and in the torrents, those YOU may eat. And everything in the seas and the torrents that has no fins and scales, out of every swarming creature of the waters and out of every living soul that is in the waters, they are a loathsome thing for YOU. Yes, they will become a loathsome thing to YOU. YOU must not eat any of their flesh, and YOU are to loathe their dead body.
And just for fun, no football!
Leviticus 11: 7-8
quote:
7 And the pig, though it has a divided hoof, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you. 8 You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you.
You've really never played this game before?

That's the Old Testament. When Jesus came his teachings became law. He kept some and not the rest. So once again, learn the bible.

Read it. Cover to cover. Studied it for years. Realized that it does not have a single meaning worthy of my time.
The only argument that I have (or really need) for my position is that for almost 2000 years (let's not even discuss the 6000 yr-old parts), not many people have been able to agree on what it means. There are over 10,000 denominations of Christianity alone.
And not many people can agree even on the most basic parts of it. Thou shalt not kill...but it's okay in battle, or if it's an execution of a murderer...or maybe not. Who knows!? Nobody, that's who. It's un-knowable.
The Bible is an ambiguous text that people use to affirm their own morality.
Thanks for reading. Now, did you learn anything?

What is next? Pedophile rights? That has been going on for just as long. They are born that way too! You can no sooner change right from wrong than you can change darkness to light. God has given many up to their corrupt minds. So be it.

If you think really hard, I'll bet you can come up with the reason that this is a false analogy. Let me know what you come up with.

You should feel sorry for me. Since I did not come to the same conclusion of faith that you did, I am a target for persecution by holier-than-thou Christians.
I do not feel sorry for you. You will skate happily through life fully knowing that every decision you make will have the full backing of your Creator. And if it's an iffy decision, no prob. You'll be forgiven because you really tried to predict what He would have wanted. And if you knowingly commit a sin, you're just "being human," and hopefully, you'll get a shot at redemption later. That is very convenient.
He is gracious indeed. Hallelujah!
...or maybe His Grace is really just your own grace toward yourself.
