Props to Skylar, Javonte, and Emmitt for pressuring the admins

The Mutiny helped play a role in LSU's decision to reinstate Wade. Props to these kids for supporting their coach and making a statement to LSU admins.
Excited to see all 3 back on the court for LSU next season.

When Kent Lowe declared too, that's when the admins got nervous.

Don’t think it had anything to do with it

Thank Wade for hiring a new attorney & meeting with LSU

Exactly, if wade meets with LSU last month, we don’t have this stalemate

The attorney is who made this happen. But the Mutiny may have helped pressure the admin to move more quickly.

So they are staying now??

I don't see any of those three getting drafted this year, so I imagine that they would likely come back.

Not 100% but I would expect all 3 to return before the deadline, after they get their evaluations.
IE- on Emmitt:
quote:
LSU forward Emmitt Williams, who announced Thursday that he was putting his name in the NBA draft, didn't rule out a return to the team next season.
Attending a camp for youth in his hometown of Fort Myers, Florida, on Saturday, Williams told the News-Press he declared to mainly get feedback from NBA executives and scouts.
Taking part in "Emmitt Williams Day," in which he worked with boys and girls in the same gym he began playing in as a youngster, Williams said he'll wait and see what he hears from the NBA before deciding his future.
Because he asked for an evaluation of his chances from the NBA undergraduate advisory committee, Williams can hire an agent and visit NBA teams and still retain his eligibility if he doesn't like what he hears.
The deadline to terminate an agent and return to school for the 2020 season is May 29.
Williams told the paper that testing the waters is something he knows will prepare him for his sophomore season at LSU or be the start of his professional career if he gets the positive feedback he needs to hear.
"A lot of people don't understand how it works, all I did was enter my name in it so I can get the feedback from the NBA," Williams said. "It's not like I'm leaving college or anything, I can always go back and do my full four years, still get my degree.
"I just put my name there to see how everything goes and what the feedback will be. I just want their opinion and what I need what to work on for next year."

He's a real piece of work.

lester earl is nothing but an angry bitch. Just like tiger ree. They both try to portray themselves as some sort of calm and collected intellects when they’re nothing but turds in a punch bowl.

A few in-the-know people mentioned a couple of them (not necessarily all or most) were definitely motivated by what was going on with Wade. As in, maybe 1 or 2 of them would not have officially "Declared" - with a "goodbye" letter if the Wade thing wasn't going on.

Probably Emmitt and Skylar.

I said just last week that Lester and these other anti-Wade idiots would do a complete 180 and say that they predicted everything that’s happened if Wade were to be reinstated just like they’re doing now. You’re right he’s nothing but an attention whore.

He didn't get rid of his old lawyer, he just added one.
