Well i know its extremely unlikely but if Georgia beats us down badly we may not be in the BCS game. So while it isn't a difficult task, we do still have to earn the chance to play Bama again.

LSU will play for the NC regardless of what happens this weekend. LSU earned their place in the BCS CG already. The win over Bama just helped secure a spot in the SEC CG.

We all know how hard ESPN has been pimping the rematch with Bama, but apparently now they are implying that if we lose to UGA then we should be dropped out of the BCSCG.

Why?
The voters WILL NOT let Bama go to the title game just because LSU lost in a game that Bama didn't even have to play.
No MATTER the outcome.
If Bama goes to the title game now, the only team they can play is LSU.

...and what have you been watching? Everyone on ESPN has been saying we're in regardless...even the people we all hate.
The only question in the season is Will Okie State earn a spot with a big W this saturday. IMO, yes. In ESPN's opinion, no.

Look at it however you want. The fact uncertainty remains that a loss in the title game could result in some unknown drop, albeit, unlikely, the possibility remains. But there is literally no reason to think that we will drop out of the title game.
None.
At all.
I don't really give a shite if we drop to #2 after a loss. 1) we would deserve it and 2) it wouldn't change our chances at a national title.

I just can't see any way that LSU isn't already in the NCG. I see it as a reward, getting to watch LSU play on saturday while Bama fans sit around hoping their team gets in. My only concern is avoiding serious injury.
