Where did I say we were bad?

OOC: 20-6

At least we get Florida and Vandy at home. Arguably the best rotation in the country. SEC West Champs, Regional host.

Do you think they have a better chance of getting there?

Do we have any remaining contributors from the 2013 team?

If not, my allegiance to LSU baseball is officially finished.

Tad, I'm waiting for your awesome predictions.

I bumped one for you, need to wait until Jan or Feb before posting those.

I didn't do too bad either from last year when I went in and predicted each game, stats, and all. lol

he had a few adventures in left last year so im not 100% sure he can handle CF, and in split squad has been playing RF while Duplantis plays CF(when they are on the same team).

Pitching typically trumps hitting. We need a few hitters to exceed expectations and this team can do OK. How many teams will we face that have + hitters throughout their lineup? We may have a good record going into SEC play just based on the options for a 4/5 starter.

Honestly they won't have the gaudy record, stats, or highlights as from a year ago but if I'm going into tournament play with two pitching staffs I would take '16 10/10 times.

Disclaimer- *This does not mean next years team as a whole will be better but the way the team will be assembled it presents fewer gapping holes in Omaha's style of play".

McKay is a lot like Godfrey
Don't think he will be as polished and ready for this staff, will be hard to crack rotation until he develops his secondary pitches. Will get some time based on pure stuff but is a little behind Smith and Gilbert at this point

Didn't most people think Godfrey would be our best freshman pitcher last year?
