2. Big Ben as Jarret Lee: Gotta love how, in the same week the highest paid players in 2008 list is released with Ben Roethlisberger at the top ($27.7 million), the Steelers’ QB cost his team a crucial game against the Colts. He threw a terrible pass at the end of the first half that let Indy get a late TD. And then he threw another bad one late in the fourth that led to Indy’s eventual game-winning TD. Monday, on the 6 pm Sportscenter: “What’s wrong with Ben Roethlisberger?” Don’t try to blame the o-line, Mark Schlereth - he wasn’t under duress on either pass.

actually links to a rant post (makes me think this could be germans)

6. Jarret Lee Impersonation Day: Drew Brees threw three picks (loss). Gus Frerotte threw three picks (win). Ben Roethlisberger threw three picks (loss). Jake Delhomme threw four picks (win). Sage Rosenfels threw four picks (loss).

Stuff like this will make or break him. Either he will see he needs to step up or he will see he really doesnt want all this pressure and quit football. Either of the 2 benefits LSU.

Damn, that is kind of harsh. I hope lee doesn't read sports articles, newpapers, chat boards, going to class. It would be his ultimate revenge or redemption to come out of this season on a roll and Have a kick azz year. This should serve as his motiviation to prove the critics wrong. If he folds well he isn't made out to be a starting qb.

These cheap attempts at humor at the expense of JLee are pathetic.

What kind of loser writes a story like that. No wonder the Ok St. coach melted down on the press like he did.

This is really out of control.

They were all over Colt McCoy like this when he was a frosh. Although he wasn't as bad, they are all hanging from his sack like cheap whores.

Do you really think he doesn't realize he needs to step up? Do you think he's oblivious to his mistakes? Guess it's time for a Geico commercial with a caveman playing QB ... it's so easy, even a caveman can do it.

Over the line. College players shouldn't be taking cheap shots in a column about pro football.

It's not right.

Poor kid, I am sure his parents are just shocked at how he is being treated. Do any of you have children that are being ridiculed for trying their best? Shame on you all. It can't help but mess with a young persons mind.

I actually felt bad for his parents, they kept showing them with headphones on not to hear the boos and names thrown at their son.

Damn, I've been ripping on the kid pretty hard, especially as of lately, but people need to start laying off.
