They've been averaging less than 5k. Shouldn't be a lot of crowd noise.
With the amount of points they score in the paint, Mickey could be vital to the defense. Need a good defensive game from him.

How much will the tech crowd play in the game? Not a typical basketball powerhouse and right before Christmas, could the game's timing help us out from that viewpoint?
it won't be a factor. i live here, and attend a couple of games a season. the arena is never very full, and will be worse than usual with students out for winter break.
but i'll be there....

While this would not be a signature win, losing this road test would be very detrimental to LSU's postseason aspirations. Even as improved as they have been this year, they are likely to be a Big12 bottom dweller. It will also be another good test to see how the young LSU players react to a road game environment.
Yep. But it's the last chance for LSU to get a true road win in the OOC portion of the schedule so the game is probably a bit bigger than one might think. A win would put LSU at 3-2 away from home (with the only losses coming against top 25 teams). Certainly would put LSU in pretty good shape heading into SEC play.

No pressure, but the whole board is now counting on you to pull 'em through. Don't let us down!

We cannot get into foul trouble. Which i think will happen and will help texas tech stay in the game. I think its a 4 point win by LSU. LSU-68 Texas Tech-62

Did we start Coleman Saturday for matchup reasons? Really like him coming off the bench.

Honestly, Coleman has played better. He has been on fire from deep up to 40% on the year and he's made 8 of his last 14. He has brought good movement on offense driving to the basket much more than Martin. They both played 20 minutes last game so it doesn't matter much.

Not that you care, but I think you're an alter. You need random LSU posts like this for credibility
