The implication of that is pretty insulting IMO.

It is, but the case has been made.

So, you support deriding our coach and program for the sake of backing up your opinion on who should be the starting QB?

I don't believe you understand the definition of bias.

You are arguing that "most" who follow LSU could support this opinion and see the case for bias in Miles' decision to play Jordan Jefferson for the majority of the snaps against Western Kentucky?

The entire paragraph is shite spew that all but says in plain English, "I think Miles favors JJ just because he does, even though there is no merit to it."

He does,.. at least thats the opinion of many amny LSU fans.
There was last year's BS... this spring and fall automatically giving JJ the reigns.
ONly chance JL had to take over was an injury or off field issue.
He was giving the opp when JJ fricked up and excelled.
What the frick else do you want him to do?

Thats all GG is saying.
Jesus christ.

Miles has no bigger fan in the world than me. I can't help it if GG makes him and the program look bad. I didn't have anything to do with it. Neither did Glen.

Many think Lee, after his last 2 passes against Bama, needed an opportunity to get back on track. Instead, he was benched, for at least a game. Do you think we're going to see equal playing time going forth, or revert to last year, with JJ starting and Lee spot duty bailing him out?
I don't think JL is a sniveling little baby that needed to be coddled, patted on the head and told everything is gonna be okay. I think JJ needed passing reps in live game action to help us win the next 4 games. I don't think JL needed as many reps and when he was in he actually ran some option (fairly well too). When he was in he looked plenty "on track" wouldn't you agree? This IMO give ole miss and Arkansas something else to think about instead of JJ = option & JL = pass (remember what miles said about breaking tendencies?)

I have no idea what we'll see with the playing time going forward but I believe we will win. Beyond that IDGAF.

If your opinion is that of the "majority" of LSU fans, I hope you are never in a position to speak publicly for our fanbase.

That Miles has a bias? I imagine MOST LSU fans, and I would guess most college football fans think there is some kind of bias.

I don't think you understand the term bias. It doesn't always mean "pet." The article was childish as I have already stated but contains a few grains of truth.

Are people really so naive as to think that there is no bias or favoritism in sports? If you've played sports at any level, you've seen it with coaches playing players that don't seem to be as good as another at a position. It happens for all sorts of reasons? But to some, saying it happens at LSU is taboo. Just like Penn State fans, stick your head in the sand and ignore. It can't happen!! We're LSU!!

Nor do I.

If this column had been about how Miles clearly didn't play Lee because he slumps his shoulders on the sidelines and looks dejected, it would have been a 25 page hate fest on GG.

Youv'e lost your mind if you dont believe most LSU fans dont at least acknowledge this.

I understand it makes you feel stupid and in the minority to say otherwise... but there is no reason to be this fricking naive.

Rightfully so, because that would be fricking stupid. It's amazing how wrong you can be on this considering the quality of your postings on other topics. Being in line with just me should have been a clue.

Team JJ? Apparently so.

The rest of us, I think we understand and accept. This carries over in football to every position, not just the QB position.

Yeah funny how Guilbeau spoke against LSU at every turn last year. Now he's the representative for LSU on ESPN. GTFO.

You must be seeing things that I am not. What things are you talking about?
this will involve some extreme examples but i use them just to get my point across. JJ is a horrific QB that can barely line up on the correct side of the line of scrimmage while we are guaranteed victory if JL plays 100% of the game. Miles being the head coach sees this and is at least told this by Kragthorpe et al and Miles has such a bias toward JJ that he doesn't care that he is by far the inferior qb and would rather risk an SEC and national title so his pet/best friend/favorite player ever can get the lions share of the snaps. A bit overstated but that's essentially what is being supposed and I do not agree.
