Prepare to spend around $200 a ticket after fees for LSU vs Aub basketball game

Looking around at different ticket sites, you will need to spend around $200 just to get in the building.
These prices are at the time of the writing of the story Thursday afternoon.
Looking at Stubhub, one ticket for Auburn’s game against LSU is $175. Standing room only is listed at $180 before fees and taxes.
Vivid Seats has two sets of tickets available for the game. The cheaper group in section 114 is at $503 before fees.
The cheapest seats on Ticketsales.com are listed at $594.

Yep! Most college basketball fans are going to miss out on the best game Tuesday night because of it only being on ESPNU. Wish I could go to this one.

Small arena. Pearle has AU fans hyped for his teams. LSU is ranked.

You consider what people shell out for football tickets...and the fact that our basketball team is a much better product at this moment...and I wouldn't be surprised if PMAC tix went up just like the Aubie tickets....

Preface by saying I cut the cord in 2009 and haven't looked back, but isn't ESPNU included in your basic sports tier from the cable company? Are there really that many "college basketball fans" running with just ESPN 1 and 2?
