I think 17-13.

I just keep looking at the schedule and it's brutal. And you could swap out 5 teams with 5 other teams and it would still be brutal. It's what every SEC team is facing.

I felt this way when it came out 20-10, but I got there by going through each series first. I hope your answer is the correct one though

Why in the hell is LSU traveling to South Carolina for the third time in a row?

What idiots are making these schedules? If LSU keeps having to go there then USCe better have to come to Baton Rouge for 3 or 4 years in a row. Thats bullshite.

Idk I guess I’m buying into the hype on how good and stacked this LSU team is. 16-17 wins would be a big disappointment considering how good all the talking heads are saying LSU looks. If this team can gel pretty quick then I can see at least 21 to 22 SEC wins.

But then again this is baseball and your prediction could be 100% accurate.

In the SEC, if you can maintain 15-15, you're likely a top-ten team in the nation.

17-13 would be more than OK.

So looking into it a little deeper. 5 SEC teams hosted a Regional last year. Kentucky and Tenner had 22 wins, Arky had 20, Aggie had 19, and Georgia had 17. 5 teams were also 2 seeds. SC, Bama, Vandy, and LSU had 13 wins. The outlier was MS with 17.

My point with that is which wins you get matter along with when they come. If you look at LSU's first 5 SEC series, they would've been a 4 seed at best. As long as we get some wins on the road, some against higher competition, and are playing good ball at the end of the regular season, We should be a Regional host as long as we have 17
