This horrible news is taking a while to get me head around. I have a daughter similar age at LSU, and this is unfathomable. So sorry to hear. Just so sorry.

So sad. Kevin Faulk, one of the good guys.

And by far my favorite LSU RB.

Even cold hearted Billy Belichick kept Faulk longer than anyone not named Brady.

My favorite Tiger ever, met him after his senior year. So humble and a good person. Prayers to him and his family.

Damn this sucks. We lost a younger son 2 yrs ago with no prior issues and no definitive answer on why he passed. It’s very difficult to process and we still have our difficult days. I can say that going to visit your kids burial site is very surreal and heartbreaking every single time. Prayers up for Kevin and his family…they’ll never be whole and it’s going to take a lot of time.

Don Redden comes to mind. 24 years old. Went to bed and didn’t wake up. Undiagnosed heart condition. Terrible to lose a child, whatever the reason.

All you can do is pray for this family.

I was 19 and went undiagnosed with a rare heart condition (not something any doctor would ever look for). Luckily I made it to the hospital in time. I was diagnosed with SVT-tried meds and eventually had surgery to fix the problem. My uncle didn’t know he had it and died of a massive heart attack in the middle of the night at 49-he was otherwise healthy.

Don’t judge this family. It’s a tragedy no matter how you look at it.

One of my mentors early n life died n his early 30’s unexpectedly from a heart condition that went undetected. They said he likely was born with it. He was hard wkin, healthy, and involved with the youth in our community. It devastated so many people.
