Dude was kind of in awe and just heaping praise on this team.

Said we have an unbelievable group of players that make it almost impossible to defend. Said we ran 28 straight plays without changing personnel, which makes it impossible for you to sub the way you want to on defense.

He said UGA runs a lot of the same plays that LSU does but it just looks different because of the players they have running it.

Said this LSU offense is the best he’s ever seen in the SEC.

Pretty overwhelming praise from an opposing coach.

Kirby, he SMART

I gained a lot of respect for him watching his presser. He at no point tried to take away from what LSU did well. People try to compare him to saban but saban always comes of as a sore loser. Gives me hope that the SEC could be fun to watch again as a whole in the post Saban era.

I’m sure it has nothing to do with making the case for not dropping too far....

His presser was a great watch. He also talked about Joe’s Heisman moment play. I’m paraphrasing, but he said they had the perfect call for that play, but Joe just beat it and that sometimes great players will beat a great call, and tipped his hat to Burrow.

He did dodge an opening question about whether his offense needed to evolve.

Kirby Smart is smart. He is also a gentleman. He also knows that it is better to lose to a great team. When a coach says he lost because of the referees or weather or whatever, it makes his team look worse.

Georgia has LSU's defense from 2011, they also have the 2011 offense, unfortunately for them

Saban was actually complimentary as well. The real sore loser is dan Mullen. Can’t stand him but he is a good coach

Smart is more likeable than that asshat Dan Mullen.
LSU didn’t beat Florida they beat themselves.

I was going to comment on this. I’ve watched every opposing coach’s presser in our big wins this year. Mullen was the only one who came off really arrogant and bitter to me. I think I’d rather beat him at the swamp next year over any other game.
