The bright side is O-tards will have far less excuse ammo than Les tards.

Dont worry

They will continue to use the we are young narrative and compare O to Bellicheck and Sabans prior seasons even though there is zero comparison

Congratulations! You don't understand. If 12 of those guys are DBs and only one on the OL and 2 on DL and one DL is hurt you don't have the talent or bodies to be as successful as you would like.

Teuheuma (sp?)) leaving was a huge loss.

When TROY becomes a team who's "scary", then you know there's a problem with that team.

Oh, I'm sure they'll be many and well rehearsed. It'll be in the script for them all to study and memorize. Anything to keep King O safe.

Sure there are some exceptions but stars mean a lot. Its a fact that a 4 or 5 star has a much better chance of playing in the NFL than 3s or 2s. There are some exceptions to this but it's not the rule.

OK, LSU last 4 classes were ranked 2/5/2/7 , compare with MS 24/28/18/36, Syr 54/ 62/ 60/ 21, . Florida 11/12/21/9, Aub 9/9/8/8 (but they lost 26 4/5 stars), UM 31/5/17/165, Tenn 17/14/4/7, A&M 13/18/11/5 . .

so you think a 4* freshman is better than someone who was a 3* but has 3-4 years of experience.... really

a 5th yr SR is going to beat most 1st or 2nd year players, doesnt matter how talented they are.

that being said, we lost 8 players to the draft and 8 more were Undrafted free agents in camp this summer. The UDFAs alone had 112 total starts between them. That is just the scrap heap.

You post gives zero context. It's as lazy and useless as you are

The hell people haven't said lack of talent. The O supporters have now said Miles left the cupboard bare.

Not disagreeing but could you give a list of 4/5 star player by position? My only argument is having those 4/5 star guys at only a number of positions don't help as much as you'd think. For example, alabama's secondary looks like world beaters most years because their Dline gets so much pressure on QBs, forcing them to make bad decisions. Once you give a good qb enough time against that secondary, you see what happens (Clemson). I think it's great to have 4/5 star guys at the skilled positions but if you don't have the big guys on the line putting pressure, you get exposed. Same is to be said on the offensive side of the ball.

We are short about 11 linemen. Stars don't mean everything.
