It doesn't matter who said it or if Pollock made it up. It's true. Hopefully JJ can prove everyone wrong. I just have my doubts.

I agree with this too. I hope he proves Pollack wrong big time. I have my doubts though. We'll see very soon.

Shhhh. These guys entertain the hell out of me. Don't stop 'em when they're on a roll. Besides, they'll make a fascinating case study for somebody's thesis and you don't want to skew their natural behavior.

how can you blame him? was he really given an opportunity to be a leader last year? the coaches couldn't even decide who was calling plays?

the coaches had no trust in jj last year. we'll see what he does with the little bit he has earned.

Come to think of it, he'd fit in pretty well around here(except for the suits)

He would be a fantasy player for the nega-Tigers...

You mean like the good long pass to Chris Tolliver against Bama that you gave me as an example (your only example) of one of JL's recent good long passes. I didn't remember that happening in 2009, but you informed me that it was in the 2008 game. I said I didn't think Chris Tolliver recorded a statistic in 2008, but you then informed me that it was actually Chris Mitchell and that it was your bad. I still didn't remember that big play and then realized you were talking about an incomplete pass. What a great example. Excuse me if I might ask for a few specifics of the incident your talking about now based on that great exchange.

But actually, I did just look through a bunch of clips to see if I could figure out what you were talking about. And finally, in the middle of about a four minute clip, I saw the interception by JJ.

You are really biased if you're making a big deal out of that. You talk about everyone else like they're being so harsh on JL, yet you dig at JJ on nearly every chance you get.

On the play that you say is so embarrassing, JJ did attempt to make a tackle of the guy returning the pick. We didn't want him to try to make the hit of the year and get hurt because we saw what our other options at QB looked like against Tech. He's a QB and he got drilled. The guy was stopped by him even though JJ took some punishment. However, the problem is that guy clearly stepped out of bounds about five yards in front of JJ. If anything he should have been penalized for a late hit or taunting JJ because the ball was spotted back where he stepped out.

What did you want JJ to do? He just threw a pick and got drilled. He probably didn't know where he was at. And then Arkansas players proceeded to huddle around him and taunt him while he was on the ground. I don't think I saw any of our other players go over there and push them away. That would bother me a little more than anything JJ did. There was one offensive lineman who sort of walked in the middle of them, but he didn't appeart to really be looking for JJ - but who knows.

By the way, he threw 2 TDs and completed 68% of his passes compared to Ryan "Jesus Christ" Mallett's 1 TD and 43% completion rate. And he put together a nice drive to send it into OT and win it after we gave up the lead with 27 points at home. That's all I care about in the end.

You are an absolutely pathetic excuse for a Tiger fan. I hope JJ has a Heisman year, if for no other reason than to show you up.

Not blaming him chief. Reread the post you responded to. Kinda laughing at you folks in this thread, this is beyond silly.

He is a leader or he isn't a leader. Will be evident in a few weeks and no ones opinion now matters one bit.

amazed at how some of you people get worked up abount someone elses opinion , which means nothing.

Yeah, he and Charles Scott and Patrick Peterson.

We had terrible leaders last year.

We need start Bailey because Lee quit against Ole Miss in 2008. All we have is a bunch of quitters.

I live for this kind of shite.
