Why do comments like this bother anyone. It's the truth. Get over it. We all know it anyway so how does him saying it make it different?

Yeah, not sure why anyone is bothered by this. The season starts in about 48 hours and if JJ is a leader will soon be evident, or not. Words are pretty meaningless right now.

And you know this.......how? From all the practices you have attended? All of the coaches you have personally interviewed? Maybe from all the players whith whom you are close personal friends?
Or maybe from all your loser friends down at the Bayou Bar? Finish that Old Milwaukee Ultra Light and go home.

He's just mad that JJ called the run play that beat his Dawgs at their house last year rather than trying to pass it and possibly taking a sack that would have knocked us out of FG range (or throwing a screen that likely would have gained nothing and set up for a blocked FG by UGA).

Who drinks old Milwaukee Light?

Did you not watch last year? What about him says leadership? I am pulling for the guy to do well but anyone who says he is a proven leader is lying. Be real.

It's hard to be a leader when you don't know what the hell is going on in the task you are leading. Maybe with confidence in knowing the offense, making reads and handling the pass rush, JJ can gain the confidence to become a leader.

So Jacob Cutrera, who is a former LBer, and an unamed coach would say Jefferson is not a leader two days before a game. Yeah right...

Leaders know when to call timeout. Leaders don't spike the ball with one second. Leaders don't pout after they throw an interception. Maybe he grew up in the past few months though.

Last year. Last year? So the team is frozen in time? The comment is about JJ's leadership THIS YEAR.

And I predict he will.

Most guys need a little seasoning to be good leaders, and some never get it. I think he will be fine by mid season.

How is this a surprise to anyone? He's not a leader.

If you would get the honest answer out of any LSU player, they will tell you the same thing.

Unlike you who hasn't grown up since that pretty girl dumped your arse in jr. high school?

I would pay money to see you perform under the pressure of a QB in the SEC. Hell, I'd even pay to have the shite cleaned out of your pants after the first blitz.

This year?? This year?? How can you say he is a leader this year when you haven't seen any evidence of it. Until he shows he has grown up a lot I don't believe it.

Why are people doubting pollock for saying what we all saw with our own eyes?

JJ has the worst presence and body language I have ever seen from a QB at any level. Have you ever seen him inspiring the team or getting them lined up or doing anything close to what a good leader does?

Hell no. I hope this year is different

It is very possible that JJ was not a leader last season (from my view in the cheap seats he didn't seem like one) but has grown into one now that he's an upper classman with a year + of experience.

It is like this...If Jordan Jefferson is our starter and is not ready for this year, then it is going to be a long year. If JJ is not prepared , then he is in the wrong sport at LSU. He is a junior people. No more excuses. He either leads now or he needs to get out of the way. It is a shame that we recruit so well and can't get a damn QB who can lead this high quality team. It is do or die. Can't hide under the covers now. 48 hours will be showtime. no time for the weak and unprepared. Either JJ has it or Les Miles seat becomes very hot indeed.

I speak the truth. You disagree. Being on here is like being the best at the special olympics. I'm surrounded by retards yet I keep trying.
