If we miss next year isn't him and Anthony grant the same?

But really LSU is looking at top 3 seed next season.

Doesn't matter. LSU is NIT bound. Wait, nevermind. LSU will get crushed by NCST.

Did I do tRant right?

Does not compute. But those were some frustrating and bad losses.

If we get Mickey back next year, this team should win the SEC.

Don't know what everyone else will have coming back, but we should be there right at the top

He's accomplished more than Mike Anderson did in his first three years at Arkansas, so it's difficult to complain.

He's also the winningest coach in LSU history over the first three years, so I'm not sure who some think we are to say it hasn't worked so far.

I've been an apologist for him during his horrific losses, but he'll probably lose a lot of advocates for him if we don't make a little noise in the tournament next year. Obviously the expectations will depend on Newman, Mickey, and Martin's decisions

He's young, so there's growing pains at a high level job like LSU. Let's see if he can improve on his motivational skills and x's and o's. But right now it's impossible to deny his ability to sell LSU to top recruits

We've improved every year over the last 3 and year 4 should be the best yet. Approve.

He's had coaching moments that deserve criticism, but anyone who isn't on the JJ train when you lay out all 3 seasons so far is a moron.

And knowing that this isn't a SR laden team.

M&M may both go, but LSU will have SR Hornsby, SR Gray, JR TQ, SOPH Patterson along with the awesome incoming FR and hopefully development for players that haven't seen the court much or at all this year.

I really like Epps' ceiling

Remember Tyrus Thomas took a redshirt before he was actually ready. Epps is very athletic, and an off-season can do wonders. Not saying he'll be that good, but I expect him to surprise folks next season

Seriously? He's in his early 50's ... wouldn't exactly call that young (and I'm 52).

if Jones keeps building on his success, then he could be at LSU for another 10-15 years. I'd qualify that as a "young" coach, though it's relative

he's also considered young as far as coaching in a major conference. I read North Texas fans mention it taking Jones 2-3 seasons to make adjustments at UNT. Once he got his players and system implemented, the rest was history

Great recruiting. Needs to get more effort out of his team, needs to get bench involved (we have players who can contribute more than they are used), needs better in-game coaching and awareness.

Overall we are in the tournament with a top recruiting class coming in. You need talent to compete, he is getting the talent. Same token, we need to start getting the potential out of our talent. Overall, I'm okay with the last three years. Must make a run next year.

Larry Brown is 74. Outlier for sure, but easily many coaches work into their 60s, early 70s.

CJJ has time to get better is my only point.
