He WILL be, at the bare minimum, a Heisman finalist and make the trip to New York. I think the "campgain" changes things a little now. Normally Coach Miles would go with the committee approach and perhaps limit his carries, and I think he still will to a degree, but now I think they try to get him his yards/stats. We saw DW in the Auburn game get us down to the one yard line, only to be replaced by LF to get him the touchdown. That tells me that there is an effort to get him the numbers, and why not, he is very deserving and that good!
I disagree. This game won't make or break his Heisman hopes as long as they don't just completely shut him down.
If he got 10 carries for 65-80 yards without playing past mid third quarter he will be fine.
He will win or not win the Heisman based on what he does agains SEC competition. Period.

I understand what you're saying but there's both reward and risk associated with running a star onto the field for the sake of stats.
As a fan I want Leonard to get his numbers but I would prefer an SEC championship first and foremost.

under, i think we get a big lead early and we save him for the future

Under by a mile, gotta get him in the endzone at least once, tho.
I'll go with 14 carries, 106 yards, 2 TDs, out by mid-3rd QTR at the latest.

Under. He may not touch the field in the second half.

If he's on the field in the 2H... something went wrong.

He's going to have several long runs, idont see him getting more than 16 carries.

Will LSU put up 60+ points or will this be a typical 45-3 Les win?
Has Les ever put up 60+ points? Once in the 40s he will leash the dogs.
What's wrong with a 45-3 win anyway?

He's in the SEC, not some second rate conference where he would need to eclipse 2,000 yards to have a shot to win the award. Mark Ingram won the Heisman with ~1,600 yards. That's not an extraordinarily high yardage total.
If LF balls out (and LSU wins) vs OM and Bama, he will have as good a chance as anyone else to win the Heisman.
To answer the OP question, under. I'm predicting around 15 carries. Hope Guice can get in and have a pretty good game as well.
