There's a difference between Caleb Gilbert being your Saturday starter versus Caleb Gilbert being one of your best 35.

DO you know about any of the incoming guys? One of them was a HS teammate of Kodros.
Rye Gunter, saw him pitch at Coppell one game. I hope he does well next year.
Speaking of Kodros, I saw today on twitter that he is officially transferring to TCU

Kodros is going to transfer to TCU

Dang that sucks. I really liked him as a set up guy or specialist. CPM didn’t use him at the end of the season so I guess this is expected

Bummer. With Kodros out, what are our numbers looking like.
And who will be our go to lefty next season?

When is the last time we had that many quality arms?
Posted on 6/18/18 at 10:31 am to thunderbird1100
One minor tweak to your list, it looks like Sanders has officially signed. I know Bush is already playing on his MILB team as well.
Posted on 6/18/18 at 10:32 am to thunderbird1100
We can throw SEC weekend quality starters for our midweek games. That's so awesome.
If we stay healthy, this pitching staff is going to carry us deep into the postseason.

Yeah I havent really updated the underlined guys, they are just underlined to stick out as basically "not coming back or not making here"

Probably 2014-15 squad. It didn't pan out like we had hoped, but we had Lange, Poche, Godfrey, Cartwright, Stallings, May, Bugg, Person, Newman, Latz, Strall, Norman, Bain, Devall, Reynolds, Domangue, and Bouman
Posted on 6/18/18 at 10:46 am to thunderbird1100
39 count?
So 4 more players need to be "processed" according to this list?

That was suppose to be a loaded rotation for years. Godfrey and Latz were both huge gets that amounted to nothing

While true, Lange proved to be the backbone we needed for a huge run. They won't all hit, which is why it is important to get a good number of them.

That squad was good on paper but alot of the big names never really pitched much. They were a Sunday starter away from making a run in Omaha which is funny because (Marshall, Latz, or Godfrey could have been that guy).
The only other year I could think of was 2012 with the three weekend guys and a number of quality bullpen arms.
The 2019 arms just by shear volume will be the most talented group under both Mainieri and Dunn.

Whatever happened to Godfrey? I remember him transferring out but I don't remember where and I never heard anything else from him.
