Think people are questioning why Maineri wouldn't be disappointed in himself at all.
No, I think they just didn't take the time to actually read the comment. And it is also pretty dumb to assume he thinks he hasn't made mistakes when he has said he has to make changes.

A birth as large as Herman Johnson??? He's the largest birth in Louisiana history in case you missed that fact on ESPN.

Coach Maineri...no need to cry. Maybe we can just skirt over to Mamby Pamby land and find some guys who can actually coach ? You are to blame for this year's team. You recruiting these players. you teach these players. The buck stops with you bucko. One more year of this crap, and you deserve to go back to Notre Dame. Take some blame man. you have been riding the gravy train since you team won a NC. I would like to make your salary for half a year. damn.

Yeah, we should hire LaVal back. Things were going so well with him.
He'll make changes. We won't be left out next year.

I am just wondering, should PM go to every TD poster's house and say he accepts blame? I mean he did it on the radio but based on the number of people that say he should accept some responsibility, he must need to try harder to get the word out.

OH NO! Could it be that JJ and Manieri are the same person?
Don't go there. JJ is still blaming everyone except the man in the mirror, and taking credit for any job well done (when it was).
Mainieri took the blame publicly more than once, for weeks and weeks. He still does.

Just heard his interview today> What a whiner. PM, you are at LSU not ND. You step up and accept the blame and let everyone know you will not let this happen again and recognize that if does you will leave. I think the guy is not capable of bringing this program back next year. And if he doesn't, he will have another set of excuses. This time however no one will be listening. He will be gone.

Is this where we're at as a program? Just happy to be in? If we don't host next year, his employment needs to be scrutinized pretty heavily. We didn't build a brand spanking new ballpark to have it sit empty in early June.
