All you have to do is look at the NFL draft and gauge their true talent level.

People would consider those rankings unacceptably low for LSU. I would say that I think the difference in talent between top 5 and top 15 is considerable enough to make a difference.

The teams he's losing to in the playoffs have perennial top 5 classes. I don't love the hire, but he's going to have access to a slew of kids he doesn't at ND and that's an indisputable fact.

Do you have eyes when you watch games? They are nowhere near the level of elite college football
