Nothing but douchebags in Florida.

that's the most pathetic post i've ever seen on this board. grow some balls and sit in the gator section and cheer like you normally would.

That's the solution. Wander around Gator tailgates asking who wants to swap LSU section tickets for your Florida side tickets.
Better yet, go on the Gator message boards and post up your request and seat locations. Good chance someone will be interested. I did that at the SEC Championship game with a UGA fan who was just as relieved as I was to make the swap.

Yep. Have done that as well. Nothing yet. Whatever happens happens.

Hey this happened to me last year at SEC champ game. I was in a sea of orange listening to "its great to be a tennessee vol 50 billion times. Rocky top good ole rocky top rocky top tennessee. I didn't even know the words to this abomination of a song until then.

Do like I did at an Ole Miss game at Jackson, when I didnt have tickets. Wear a blue shirt(red in my case) with no writting, ole piss fans were happy to sell great seats to a fellow ole miss fan, the guy that sold them sat next to me said , I hate them, talking about LSU. When the tigers score pull out an old LSU hat from your back pocket and give them a heart attack. The guys father looked at his son and said you dumba#% ,you sold them to the wrong people. They dont like you as much as you dont like them, but if you win its a blast.

Dude its not like your going to be all alone in the middle of the freaking vietnam war. Its a fuking football game. IMO it makes it more fun when you sit in the opposing teams section when they are GETTING THEIR ASSES HANDED TO THEM!!!

I've been to the LSU/UF game for the last 3 road trips. And I have sat in the UF section 2/3 of those times. As long as you're not in the Florida student section, you'll be fine. I've had good experiences with the fans... even when we lost.

Pathetic is a good description. Can you imagine any Tigers in uniform that only wanted to play in home games? Hope not.

Dude, really. Go borrow some balls, and man up. I sat in the Vandy home section 3 years ago (I agree vandy isn't much) and had the non-pleasure of sitting near a guy wearing a vnady jersey #6 and name was "six pack"
Needless to say, he'd only been to campus to watch football games and clean the porta-poddys. He was really big on the "LSU, go home...wait! You ain't got no homes!" So after yelling for six-tooth to sit down and inviting him to perfom acts with himself, he showed much more intelligence than his 85 IQ would lead one to believe and he sat.
Go, yell like hell and take NO $HIT from anyone. We are the DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPS and don't let 'em forget it. You'll have fun wondering if those in uf gear have even been to campus for a class.

Okay. It certainly appears that it must have been a stupid question I asked. Go ahead and keep dishing out the lumps, I can take it.
But it looks like one slight misconception has crept into this thread. In no way, shape or form will I not use these tickets. There is no way in HELL I would have a ticket anywhere in that stadium and not use it. And no, I'm really not scared to sit amongst the Gator fans. The reason I started the thread was that I would obviously PREFER to sit in the Tiger section, as I'm sure any Tiger fan would.
Now, continue flaming and have a GREAT day!!!

You mean staying in Gainesville?
We always drive back. Of course when it's an 8:00 CBS game that means getting back at about 3:00.

good, then you're halfway there, I've had to sit in the bamer section the last two times we've played in tuscaloosa. You just let them talk, and every time tebow gets hit, you just turn around and smile.

jax, why do you say 3 getting back to jacksonville? it's only an hour and a half drive, right? if the game is over around 11:30, you should be able to get back by 2.
