Can he catch pitches in and around the strike zone? Because our current catchers drop a lot of catchable pitches as well.

Id love to see clap get some love from big programs. Kid can flat out play and if he wasn’t undersized, teams would stop doubting their eyes when they see him play and hit..

I find it difficult to believe that this pitching staff can get a ball anywhere around the strike zone.

He can probably throw somewhat accurately to second base as well.
Jordan needs to be canned no later than next weekend

We’ve been keeping tabs on him. I think we may end up offering him (my opinion). We’ve also been looking at the kid from Dutchtown at Jones college. Catches, plays third, and shortstop.

Dude our catchers are well below average in their defensive abilities and there is ZERO argument otherwise.

You know anything about him? I’ve been tracking him all year. I only know what I’ve been able to find on the internet. Multi sport kid that may have missed his senior baseball season due to football injury.

LHH that has played two up the middle defensive positions at a size that’s normally considered too big for both positions. I watched a little of the game the other night and he looked capable at shortstop but probably would fit better somewhere else.

I’ve liked what I’ve read and the little I’ve watched of him. Hoping he gets an offer from us.

Not a lot. Think he’s an overall athlete that is probably playing at a competition level where he’s one of the best players on the field. Looks promising but hard to project how it translates to high level D1 after missing his Sr HS year with injury and playing Juco now. Definitely seems worth the look.

Last year too. They are there to hit.
