It was a slow build up for Hill because he was suspended for the first 2 games for off the field issues!! Do u even follow LSU football?

Season ticket holder since 1998 how about you ? 6-10 carries tops against Wisconsin. If you think Miles is gonna feed this kid the ball 20-25 times a game you haven't been paying attention.

fournette is special. this really isn't the same situation. could very well be the best player to ever don the purple and gold.

I agree, but so was Hill. Les understands the value of fresh legs at the end of the season so I fully expect LF to be brought along slowly. I "suspect" that wont go over well here.

If he is as good as Hill, he will have lived up to the hype. Hill is the best RB in LSU History.

Sarcasm?

But he is up there. I think he will be a GREAT NFL RB.

Faulk and Hill are surely at the top of that list, and I think LF can absolutely be in that group it just isn't going to happen as quickly as everyone wants.

he just had the best singular season in LSU history.

1400 yards and 6.9 YPC(over 1 more whole yard than Faulk ever averaged)

Faulk best career.

My point is, if Fournette ever has a season like Hill had this past year, he'll have lived up to his billing. Chances are he wont, but he may come close

Fair point.

Hill is a monster. I think he is the most gifted we've had outside of Cecil and he sure was consistent and clutch this year.

I agree if Fournette even sniffs Hill's 2013, he will be a major success. 6.9 YPC is pretty absurd.

Best running back since Adrian Peterson gets 6-10 carries in first game?! Consensus No. 1 RB in nation and considered to be the No. 1 player in nation regardless of position by most. He ran for 262 yards against John Curtis on national television when their whole team tried to tackle him on every play. He is stronger and faster than any running back on LSU's roster before he even puts on the uniform. 6-10 carries?? I think u need to rethink your position.

LF = Q3/4 battering ram early in the year. Less blitz responsibility when Les is playing with a lead and jamming it done their throats for victory.

He'll be starting by SEC play or possibly the second game of the year.

I honestly don't get why people are thinking 700, 800 yards. I mean have you seen the recent true freshman? Guys are killing it from day one.

7 true freshman RBs in the last 11 years, in the SEC alone, have cracked the 1000 yard mark. five in the last four. The carries are there, the OL is there. With his immense talent, I honestly don't see anything short of 1200.

If you think Leonard is the average LSU freshman RB, you haven't been playing attention.

He needs to be eased into the rotation. I look for him to get his first touch mid-season and really start to contribute his sophomore year.
