By far the best 2 teams in the field of 8, and losing game 1 makes it extremely unlikely a team wins it all. Entire season on the line tonight, treat it accordingly.

Not really.

If LSU’s getting blasted, Jay isn’t going to waste his best pitchers knowing he’s come out of the loser’s bracket twice before making it to the finals.

This is a fair point. If we get down by a few runs in the back half of the game it's entirely possible jay sandbags the pitching and we end up getting spanked in the final score. If we're up late I think he'll throw probably anyone he needs to but eyanson .

Pretty much. You go all out as long as the game is tight. If it gets out of hand, you finish the game with pitchers you would not otherwise use.

Nah, that’s a panic decision.

Kade is going 7 2/3, Evans for 1 1/3 and Tigers win 6-4

Losing game 1 vs losing game 2 puts you in the same exact situation. One is not more important than the other.

I feel like they are the best 2 teams in the tourney, yes....but

There are some other good teams with Championships behind them....Oregon State is really good, Coastal also is very good and hasn't lost in 2 months...UCLA is no slouch either.

You ain't winning it tonight, BUT, you can damn sure make it almost impossible to win.

While harsh, I don't know where he is wrong. LSU and Arky are both considered by the experts and those that know baseball as the teams to beat in the tourney.

Losing game 1 does in fact make it very very difficult to win this thing...especially with us not having a very deep pen.

I agree with him it is unlikely we win it all if we lose tonight. If we win tonight though, while we will be the favorite, still a lot of work to do...but manageable.

I don't like the prospects of losing today and having to use Eyason against Murry State...then having to come back and beat UCLA, then Arkansas twice...with our lack of starters...

I'd much rather lose the game against UCLA and have Arkansas have to burn their pitching..at least we would have Evans vs the hogs #3 the second round...then take our chances with UCLA.

As you said though, not much difference.....either way is extremely difficult.

Every game counts: every game in important

we lost game 2 to WF and came back to beat them.
