just stabs in the dark, folks, don't get worked up. pay sites, other boards, faithful LSU fans that have web sites which solicit donations and who bleed P&G (because your heart is gold) please don't quote me, thanks.

Ha great Blache pic. He would kick arse as the DC of LSU.

I dont really care about Hatch. He should be moved to TE, IMO.
But Lee has shown flashes that he can play in the SEC and lead our offense to wins.

There were a lot of unhappy players on the team, even those playing. You can imagine the unhappiness of those not playing. Lets see- Murphy, Dixon, R J Jackson, any RS Freshman that did not see the field, just to name a few. And, yes possibly J Lee, Hatch or both. We will see attrition this year. You always do, and a year like this will accelerate the process.

murphy, lee , dixon, would not break my heart
I had great expectations for stefoin francois and john williams.
It would hurt if they transfered.

these threads are so stupid, none of yall have any idea what you are talking about it.
nothing good can come from throwing names around when you have no earthly idea.

He can't transfer...he's a RSJR...will be a 5th year senior next year.
Another name I saw was Jhyryn Taylor...what makes you think he would leave? He hasn't even had a chance yet. Plus his brother will still be on the team (one of them anyways).
John Williams is an unfortunate situation. The kid is all LSU...from an LSU pedigree....and we can't get him on the field. I think he'll leave just so he can play somewhere...otherwise he's the next RJ Jackson.
Ricky Dixon is gone, I think...along with fellow ESJ'er Francois. That's just speculation.
I also expect J Mitchell to quit to concentrate on baseball...also just speculation.
RJF is gone. NFL.

why? He was a true freshman last year. He got RS'ed. Big deal.

Those of you hoping that Lee tranfers are idiots. He will be miles better next year.

so you'd feel safe with Jordan Jefferson as our starter next year with a FR backing him up that has never played a down of college football and who hasnt proven he can throw the football?
I couldn't agree more. There are an awful lot of people wanting a kid to transfer after one year. Let's say the unthinkable happens and JJ and RS were to go down in that scenario, then what??? Why on earth would you want to run a scholarship QB out when it is obviouslly the thinnest position on the team? It makes no sense at all, but then again, not much that's said on this board does anymore.
JL has as much a shot as anyone else to be the starter next year, like it or not. So all of you folks calling for his transfer are out of touch with reality.

"we"? its LSU's fault he cant get on the field?
and he is going to be a SOPH next year. Its not like he has been riding the pine for 3 years.
most kids dont play overnight.

danndy don hinted that he knows of some players that will probably transfer, but wont comment on it until after the bowl game.
Then he should shut his hole.

i said he has a long ways to go
i know you are in love with Jefferson's 40% completion percentage, but completing(Sheppard) 45% of his passes as a JR and 54% this year isnt exactly setting the world on fire.
he certainly wont be ready to come into an SEC game and be able to pass the ball if we happen to be behind in a game
but that can be said for most freshman
It certainly would be unrealistic for us to expect him to come in and be a passing QB

Its just a figure of speech. What I mean is that this kid had a lot of talent, but he can't find a role....or the coaches can't find him a role...either way...and both ways.
As for his age....he's been passed up at corner by younger players, and there's no way he'll ever play at WR, especially not with Benton and Randle..should we get him.

You're an idiot. Unfortunately, an idiot with a forum.
JL will one day make a fine QB. He won't win the Heisman, he won't play in the NFL, but he'll be a decent college QB.
All you fellows salivating over Russell Shepherd aren't paying attention to his size. He weighs 179 pounds. Probably including his uniform and soaking wet. The D's in the SEC will squash him eventually. Yeah, he's fast but so is most of the SEC.
I don't know this for a fact, but it sure looked like we had a horrible attitude the last half of the year. That will kill you in team sports. And it did to the Tigers.
Some changes need to be made in management and players. If it's done right, and the recruits don't defect, LSU will be fine. It has been a well below-average year for a program like LSU's, but if Les does what he needs to do, they'll be fine.
