greed. Agree so much that I think LSU needs to have ushers at the Florida game and booing fans should be escorted out of the stadium.

You got some proof of this? He was charged, they were reduced by GJ but this doesn't mean he was convicted. Don't let your hate blind you.

Booing is bad, but it is nothing new. We honored the 1961 team on Sat. Often times when the QB was put in they booed. The coaches moved Jimmy Field from halfback to QB. but Lynn Amede was the crowd favorite. They needed a QB that could play D, too. Back then, the substitution rules made it impossible to alternate. I hated it, but it went on the whole season. This is something Miles will need to learn. LSU fans will boo him, if he does things they do not like. They were booing Miles. If he continues to short change Lee, they will continue to boo him.

Angry LSU Alumni/Fan here too and disgusted by not only Saturday but numerous times I have gone to LSU games since 1985. For those that boo at LSU games, regardless of whether it is meant for coaches or admin, it is classless, obscene, ignorant, and if you read this please, for the love of God, immediately turn in your tickets because you do not deserve to witness another LSU event nor be part of the LSU family, plus you are just a sick MF'r IMO. LSU players are students, not paid like an NFL player to "do a job", and NEVER deserve that on any level. IF you have a problem with coaches/admin, feel free to write, email, call talk show, whatever else you deem necessary. FWIW, I didn't like putting JJ in at that time either but would never boo to show it.

Someone asked earlier, but I didn't see an answer. Why didn't the players put Johns' number on their arms?

you'd have to ask them for a truthful answer since I am not a player.

Maybe they feel JJ was being unjustly persecuted cause he was the biggest name in the game, maybe they thought if someone was to take the fall it would be JJ and if someone was likely to get off it was Johns.

Maybe cause Johns is white and JJ is black, maybe cause they figured no one would boo Josh Johns if he saw the field and opposite for Jefferson.

Maybe cause Jefferson is a starter they played more actual game time with him and it resulted in a closer bond then the backup.

Why do you think they didn't do it?

Pretty low-life!!!

Worse, they are the judges, jury and the ones that condemn to be cool, or perhaps are just narrow minded, low IQ, want to be LSU graduates without considering if it were their son out there, how pitiful they would feel. They are embarrassments to the LSU community and hope LM addresses it.

JJ has always represented LSU with class and seems like the least likely to kick someone in the face...maybe, just maybe you judges...there was a good reason.

-the ignorance of our fans is amazing. he likely did absolutely nothing wrong besides being at a bar.....while JL and ZM were at another bar. which destroys the whole 'if he was a leader he wouldn't put himself in that situation' argument, especially if he wasn't in any fight whatsover.

The problem is, people (ignorant assholes) think that the grand jury actually said he was guilty of something. The grand jury pretty much laughed in the face of BRPD and said you can ONLY CHARGE him with simple battery.

Got to agree...The only ones who have problems with the JJ issue are the (some)fans..They claim to be Loyal to LSU but yet eat their young..go figure!..

I don't think JJ deserved a standing ovation either but he did not deserve the boos. I hope he can help the team and I hope he can accept his supplemental role he has now. All the turmoil Lee has gone through and with his good production Lee deserves to be the starting qb for this team.

I was ready at the begining of this season to get behind JJ , and hopefully we would be done with the two QB system. But due to a ignorant mistake he made ( and skipping curfew and getting into a bar fight is a mistake , Head kick or not )all of the LSU fans have to put up with this, QB swapping for another year , and if we get critical about when JJ comes in we are said not to be true fans. Get real. Lee has been great so far and I hope these situations dont hurt his spirits.

Booing LSU players or coaches is very classless.

But please don't overextend your asertions. Did JJ get a raw deal? Maybe and maybe not. Regardless, Lee has been commanding the offense and managing the game well so far. He may not be as athletic as JJ but we are not seeing the repetative mental lapses this season. His passes may be off at times but he has certainly showed he can make completions short, medium, and long distances. I, and many true LSU fans, believe that JL provides better management of the team on the field than JJ has the potential to consitently provide.

The players should realize that without the fans there is no football.

That being said, I didnt boo or condone the booing.

I definitely was saying "WTF? Aww jesus" when miles stuck him in in that situation though.

I love our players and would never boo them on the field.....I will however boo the teachers that "educated" them. The seem damn near illiterate in those tweets!

So the grand jury indicted him for being at a bar? Or is it more likely that they heard actual testimony and decided he had done something wrong?

This can't be reiterated enough. A lot of those tweets are biting the hand that feeds them. Some of the players called out the individuals who booed as "mean-spirited" and that is fine and probably deserved. But attempting to alienate themselves from the whole fan base who give them the whole platform that they play on is ignorant. It reminds me of Saban shunning the media because preparation for football is all that matters.

1. The boos certainly won't be good for our recruiting

2. I personally boo our players' grammar
