The room is being named after former LSU defensive back and current Arizona Cardinals star Tyrann Mathieu, according to documents. The LSU Board of Supervisors must approve the renaming of the room at its meeting next Friday.
The players’ lounge is located in the football operations center and is just a few months away from a facelift. Mathieu donated $1 million to the program last fall, funds that will go to the renovation of the football complex, specifically the lounge.

Ryan Perrilloux also got kicked off the team similar to him and he is no way still associated with LSU. Only because Tyrann Mathieu is doing well and earning money, he still respected at LSU.

1. RP was not as good as TM.
2. RP was not a heisman finalist while at LSU.
3. RP did not go on to turn around his life completely and become a NFL star.
4. RP did not recently donate 1 million dollars to the program.

Can you not see the difference between these two post LSU?
Perrilloux will always be associated with LSU. We don't win a national championship without him, and everyone knows that. He will always be remembered.

bullshite. We respect him first bc he is one of the best football players to have every played at LSU, second bc he took his punishment and never bad-mouthed LSU, third bc he has turned his life around and become a tremendous NFL player, and fourth bc he is still a great advocate for LSU.

Also, your post is absolutely moronic. Mathieu has done nothing since being kicked off the team but be a great model for a young guy turning it around and blossoming into a respectable young man. He has represented LSU and has donated to the program.
