Players in question in this whole deal

In my opinion none of this is worth it for these 2 guys. They aren’t game changers. What Texas Tech tried to do with the whole Sorsby situation was stupid and wrong, but you can at least understand their effort for a starting caliber quarterback. At the end of the day, I don’t think either of these players is going to be the difference in a championship season for LSU.
And just because they win a lawsuit doesn’t mean LSU is forced to roster them. We can tell them sorry it’s just not worth a headache.

I know people are gonna argue about saying It’s not how good the players are and it’s the principle of the fact, blah blah blah. But is this the Hill we as a fan base and a team want to die on for these two jokers?

So, you want what? For LSU to interfere in a lawsuit between players and the SEC?

Screw that
The whole point of this is fighting what it right for these players in this special interest
You can’t pick and choose just cause they aren’t all Americans

These players got screwed by the timing of the ncaa five fo five rule
Which I like the rule

It’s definitely not “worth it” and in hindsight maybe we shouldn’t have gotten into this mess.

But this is not the Sorsby situation. This much more analogous to Chambliss and Pavia and the basketball g-leaguers and the o-linemen at Texas who have all been allowed to play after receiving TROs without backlash and this level of smear campaign.

The league is pissed at lsu for kiffin and wade and rocking the boat and tried to pick a battle based on emotion that was stupid of them to do. Idk how this gets resolved but LSU is not Texas tech here.

He can't answer

These morons literally think LSU is suing the SEC to get these 2 players. And nothing you say will make them understand

What do you retards not understand about this entire situation it’s not about these two players? Of course they’re not gonna make that much of a difference on the team. It’s the fact that the SEC just made up these horseshite rules last week and is trying to impose them only on LSU not on any other school who’s doing the exact same shite. At some point you have to take a stand and I’m riding with Lane and the administration.

This exactly.

Where was the SEC when Alabama signed and played a pro basketball player? Why was there no punishment?

But since Lane and LSU did it, within the rules, it’s now the end of the world.

I agree. Only thing he didn’t say was “This is not the college football from my childhood” or “Are we going to let Tom Brady come back and play college ball?”

I can answer asshat.

I know it’s not LSU suing anyone. But it is LSU willing to put them on the team, moron. Like I said, the players can win their lawsuits, but LSU doesn’t have to put them on the team roster just because they win. The judge can’t order LSU to make them part of the team.

Dude. There are over 380 Class of 2022 athletes, from all over the country, suing for their eligibility. Those lawsuits will go on regardless of what LSU does.

You want LSU to come out and say we're not taking any of them just to make you feel better? The same media that has you scared sure didn't talk about kicking Bama out of the SEC for playing a literal professional player in basketball just a few months ago..

You seem like you’re taking this personally. This is business. College football is a business. You have to weigh the risk vs rewards. What does LSU gain from this?

Not what this is about any longer.

The SEC is once again picking winners and losers. The players, and by extension, LSU are fighting back,

Frick this crooked conference.

Completely different situation. Sorsby bet on his sport (including his own team)... Pete Rose is arguably the best hitter in the history of baseball and yet he was banned over it.. and even now in death is still banned over it...

Were talking about 2 guys taking a few thousand bucks to try and make a football team and subsequently being cut without ever even playing a game or making the final roster. And given new circumstances were potentially given a new opportunity to play football and continue their career.

Sure they can. Don’t comment unless you know what you’re talking about. The ignorance around this amazes me. You sound just like the SEC.

Fact is, yes a school can be named in a TRO and injunction. It happened to Mizzou yesterday. The SEC can’t make us follow rules that open ourselves up to lawsuits.

The reason you fight this until the end is to stop selective enforcement. If they do it to us once they’ll do it again.
