Just going to keep bumping this so you fricking nerds at ESPN that lurk this board for all of your info and talking points will finally mention this as a very simple and fair solution to a problem created by our opponents to dodge the game all together or at least heal up and play it later in the season.

Yep, this plan makes more sense than anything else I've seen

The only way to fix this is to go beat the brakes off Florida in the Swamp. Badly. Really, really badly.

Florida isn't playing the Tigers anywhere, including Gainesville. Well, maybe the Georgia Dome on Dec. 10th.

The sad thing about this is the limited number of college games each player has to play before his collegiate career comes to an end. Most won't go to the next level so the loss of just one game has got to be disappointing. I hope the game gets played for their sake and selfishly it would be one more for me too. I want them to play and absolutley crush the gators.

Bump
Yep.
Once again ESPN, all this takes is the SEC nudging Arkansas to host LSU two weeks earlier than scheduled. That's it. We are over two weeks away from that date right now giving them plenty of time to make arrangements.
LSU fans that planned to travel to that game will be inconvenienced but that's ok, we'll deal because we aren't huge bitches.
South Alabama then bumps their trip up by a week, an easy car ride for their fans, and we hope many are going to make that trip.
Then we go to UF or the 19th and stomp arse like we would have Saturday Sunday or Momday.
Someone call in with this on Finebaum and on the O show tonight.
There is simply no reason this isn't all over the media already as the easiest and most logical and fair fix. Including the idiots in the local media. Hell, Alleva himself should have been screaming about this at the presser. It's not too late Joe.
If Arkansas drags feet, then SEC steps in. Hell, all these talking heads keep talking like the SEC can somehow force LSU to cancel an OOC game and pay 1.5 million bucks and lose the revenue that the home gate generates for the school and the city, but can't tell Arkansas to host an already scheduled SEC game two weeks early?? Please.
And moving an Ark home game up two weeks is so much simpler than moving the UF UGA game in Jax or the damn SECCG which are the two things the stupid arse media keep harping on.

I would be ok with this. Im starting to waiver in my opinion that we should stand our ground on not going to florida on 11/19. After all the shite talk by the gumps, aggies, and gaturds- I say we go in there and stomp a mud hole in their completely healthy asses.

Yeah there really isn't any reason to not go to UF in this scenario
The problem was just moving the UF game to the 19th was assuming we cancel a home game and play 3 SEC road games in 12 days.
Both of those problems are resolved in this scenario.

Moved the SEC Championship game to 12/10 and let LSU/UF play on 12/3.

Florida does N-O-T want to play the game and for obvious reasons. How is anyone still confused about this? The only reason Florida would agree to play on 12/3 is if they are out of race in the East and they can't file an insurance claim for 10/8.
Its pretty simple I think, if UF beat Missouri and Tennessee beats Bama then all of sudden Foley is going to be on the phone to work with Alleva on getting the LSU game in, until then... he is going to wait as their only chance is to not play LSU.

So if you follow this logic. Foley is a manipulating the SEC to his own benefit, which means this is the reason he did not want to entertain any possibilities of getting the game in last week or SUN/MON/TUES.
Now if that is the case, clear eyes would say this deserves punishment. That punishment would be what? The SEC let them get off scott free and make LSU reorganize their schedule to accommodate them. Forfeit.

It is so clear that anyone in the media with half a brain should be screaming about it. Tennessee too, why they have been so quiet is beyond me.
Although honestly, they probably still won't. They will get a better bowl bid if they don't lose to LSU and probably know they'll get embarrassed by Bama even if they snuck into SECCG. They'll take the SECCG by default if UT loses two and it falls into their lap but I don't think they'll scream about playing the LSU game just for the chance to see Simple Mac get drilled by Poppa Saban if they happen to win a toss up game against LSU.
Hell, say UF ends up 10-1, they would be a prime candidate for a NY6 Bowl at worst and maybe even sneak into the CFP. They have ZERO incentive to play this game.

Sankey made it clear that it was up to the entire SEC to make this work. It would inconvenience Arkansas, but it wouldn't be a huge detriment to any team.
it seems the SEC is all about selfishness these days. Georgia refused to help, florida caused this crap and i'll bet Arkansas finds a reason not to help.
btw, your solution is the best I've seen. of course, florida gets their injured players back and that's all those low life cheating sobs wanted anyway. I hope we go to gainsville and slaughter them. beat 'em up.
