Also yeah Louis was the heart and soul of our team but when it came down to being clutch he is worse than A-Rod.

If you listened to LSU fans you would think he is Mariano Rivera/Eric gagne/Trevor Hoffman all in one.
He owns the save record or has tied it for LSU. That in itself is deserving.

The same A-Rod that dominated last year in the post season?

The reason he owns the save record is not of his own doing that is more of a reflection on his teams ability to stay ahead and put away teams.

You realize this starts with pitching right?
I am not sure I have ever read such idiotic post on TD in my time being here. You are beyond help. Good Luck in life because you need it.

No I doesn't start with pitching is starts with the bats that put him in that position and then end with Micah controlling the last inning while he stands up their mindlessly trying to blow people away with his 92-93 mph fastball.

Someone search for posters who started fire PM threads and you will find who this alter is.

What are you talking about manieri is one of the top three coaches in college baseball. I wasn't happy with the way he handled his first year here and how he treated the upperclassmen players but I never called for him to be fired.

Louis is the least of my concerns at this point. In fact I thought him to be horribly overrated during his stay here in Baton Rouge. I am more concerned because of Ross and Matulus. I honestly just don't think Ross has what it takes to play at a championship level. Matulus on the other hand I think can develop into a great player. Berrtucini I am not going to lie I cannot stand. He is a gimmick pitcher and once the other lineup figures him out he is effectively worthless. Lastly Matty Ott I'm my opinion still hasn't proven himself as the dominate "Trevor Time" pitcher alot of people see him as. He can change that I think with some strong showings early in the season.
This is one of the most idiotic posts ever on the Rant.

"Bertuccini", at least spell his name right. But I will say he is one of my favorites. Might not be on the money everytime but this is baseball and very few are. But to go in to the situations he does and succeed most of the times says alot about his mental makeup. Plus he is a great kid!

I think one of our biggest returners on the pitching staff no one is talking about is Paul Bertuccini. The guy seems like he's been here forever and has been a guy that gets us out of so many jams mid-game. His breaking stuff makes batters go mad and will be a key to getting us back to Omaha this year. Starters will get in trouble this year, and he's there to get them out of it.

Yeah he does seem to pitch very well in some really tight jams. He was big last year.

I think Daniel Bradshaw is going to have a break-out season. Did anyone notice how he was pitching at the end of the season last year? I expect him to arrive and be a weekend starter.
Posted on 2/13/10 at 11:39 am to MidCityTiger
Bradshaw was pitching great at the end of the year, better than Ross. He should have started game 2 against TX.
