I thought Dutton looked way better this weekend than he did at the end of last year.
shite on the guy but everyone had their role last year. Dutton and Little were used as cannon fodder in game 2 so we could win game 3. Takes a lot of nuts to go out and do that on a national broadcast.

I’m not shitting on him. His stuff is just what it is, & the league is just all together a different beast. It’s hard for a RH to live at 91mph w/ flat stuff & no premier out pitch.
In 9 SEC appearances last year, he didn’t record an out in 2 of them.

Doesn't matter what I think. Jay trusts him as a back end of the pen guy as of right now. I've heard Jay highlight that Dutton is a strike thrower. I guess that trait is pretty high on Jay's list right now for end of game scenarios.

I agree with lester, but it does feel like Jay is trying to audition him to be the next cooper
