Too many lead off walks/hits.
Couldn't find the zone.
Aggie mid reliever pitched well.

The lefties they threw at us was something to behold. Don’t know about the talent of other teams, but surely Aggies had the market cornered on lefties, and knew it was a problem for our hitters. They had good Intel, and the shift worked for them, many times, while we shifted and it worked against us. They had almost every advantage, and barely prevented a sweep….have to look at the positives

LSU went in to the weekend with 4 weekend starters and came out with only a Friday night starter. The Saturday and Sunday starters struggled. The bullpen on Sunday was terrible.

You nailed it. Our Saturday and Sunday starters were not that great. Love this team but the ags deserved to win this one. Glad we won the series especially since we never seem to beat the ags and got revenge from their series win last year.

Move Hurd to Saturday and let him continue to develop and work his way. Let Shores go to Sunday and continue to develop. Move Floyd to the back end you have tw closing options with him and Little.

Little hasn’t looked great his last handful of outings. I don’t have complete confidence in him.

Let Edwards close the 8th and 9th. Move Little to long to middle relief. Sat/sun starters I am not sold on either. Hopefully they get it together.

None of our pitchers were throwing first pitch strikes. Always pitching from behind

He had 0 ER his last 2 times out.

I fine blaming this one on the Ump, but it is possible none of our pitchers could ever throw a strike.

Better hitting teams will destroy shores he has nothing but a fast ball and he'll give you 3 innings - with the bullpen we have one of our weekend guys to go the distance

I agree he is a onetime through the lineup guy on the weekends.

White is going to be a liability at third all year. He has no range and was out of position on the run down

Don’t you dare. The rant doesn’t like you to give your opinion and criticize White. I agree but he has to be in the lineup. Our Friday/Saturday starters with no shut down closer are our biggest issues.

I watched Shores pitch live against Western Michigan. That kids threw 4 pitches for strikes that day. 5 if you count two different fastballs. Trust me he has more than a fastball. He just needs to learn how to pitch.

It’s another new thing for SEC play. They are studying the ball tracker. Much tighter zones, and it will be that way in SEC play.

Six runs should've been enough to win this game.
