But if that goes 3 games, could you have Skenes again on Monday with 3 days rest?

I'm praying for a rainout Saturday to give Skenes an extra days rest for a game 3 start to seal the deal

Saturday and Sunday the wind is switching from the SE to NW and will blow out to straight center according to the Windfinder app. I'm a nerd about wind because I fish all the time.

Coop has more in him, too. The best description I have heard is Cooper has an elastic arm.

You are correct, though, the deeper Skenes can go, the more likely this game is a win and it is better for us in game 1 in the CWS finals. Also better for the next 2 games.

What we need and don't have on our roster is a senior who is not a draft prospect. 'member that guy for San Jose State or something like that in a regional a few years ago who threw 210+ pitches because it was his last competitive baseball game ever?

This is 2023! Stop living in the past. What happened in 2017 has nothing to do with what will happen this year. Different players, different coaches, different teams, different game plan, different team mentality…etc. LSU has the better team in 2023, and the Tigers are clearly more battle tested in the 2023 CWS than UF.

I'm convinced that Riley doesn't have a pitch count. Throw that dude out there for 100 pitches daily if you need too.

To have any chance against Fla, I would try and save Hurd
Floyd can start Sat and Hurd could be ready to go Sun

Coleman could go Sunday as well. He might have to. If only we had Shores.

Don’t think he’d risk it on 3 days rest. Or maybe as a closer for a couple pitches if it’s insanely close for game 3. (If he doesn’t throw 100+ tonight)
