He will be, he has not thrown over 75 pitches in any outing this year, I doubt he'll be allowed to pitch much more than that if any.

+680 on 10 strikeouts for Skenes lol. This the only free one we will get. Easy money dude will be on a no hitter through 5 with 11 k’s.

10Ks on an 80ish pitch count will be hard.

Jared Jones got 13 total runs support in his last 7 games! Thats not even a 2 run avg per game.

He won't get out of the 4th inning.....if he makes it that far. These are a little bit better hitters.

Big Ben's first MLB start was in 1990 on July 21 he pitched a complete game shutout.

Pitchers making their first start have somewhat of an advantage in that most likely none of the players have ever hit against them. If he can control the nerves and not miss his location or walk too many, I expect him to have a good start but going more than 5 innings is highly unlikely.

1990 MLB baseball was a different game. Skenes will absolutely be on a pitch count so zero chance he comes close to sniffing a complete game. Contrary to some posts I've seen here, MLB teams are very cautious with pitchers - especially high profile pitchers and Skenes about the highest profile pitcher to come along in years.

That’s the run line. Your either the favorite and the run line is -1.5 or the underdog +1.5. I’ll take that.

He's facing the Cubs' ace, Justin Steele, who was a Cy Young candidate last year, and the Pirates' offense isn't good.
