They’re gonna pipe in music regardless. They need to just pipe it in during those 2 and a half minute commercial breaks. That silence and advertising on the speakers is a BUZZ KILL. Who would rather hear “Sweet Caroline” or “Bork on the bayou” during those long breaks opposed to “Raising Canes Proud Sponser of LSU athletics” ?? I mean the damn Ads are all over the place why do they also have to be on the speakers??

The only other time should be 3rd and 4th downs to wake everyone up. Y’all gotta realize. It’s going to happen. It’s what the younger generation wants. They need to just work on the music selection and playing it more than 8 fricking seconds blaring. The person in charge of the music sucks bad. It doesn’t have to be so horrible. Go to other stadiums and see. There’s a right way to do it while still allowing the band time to play as well. The Tiger Stadium experience is lacking big time.

When are you geezers going to get over this crap?

We get it, you don't like the piped in music. Well, the players do and the middle aged crowd doesn't care.

IT'S NOT GOING TO CHANGE

Did you say "right before half"? The new band director treats TGBFTL like a high school squad when it comes to leaving their seats before half. I've watched them since last year start leaving their seats with 7 minutes left in the second quarter. They usually spend about 20 minutes of actual time crowded up against the fence on the sidelines behind the players and photographers. In today's college football, 7 minutes of game time may take 25 minutes of actual time.

Exactly. Go to Bryant-Denny or Jordan hare and see how their DJs handle the music. They do it well. Good song selection and good timing. The guys doing it at TS are horrible they pick fricking 50 Cent and DMX like that’s what people want to hear.

Music during long breaks keeps the energy alive in the building.

I'll admit this has never really bothered me, but something about the telecast this past Saturday made it seem worse than normal.

It was pretty damn embarrassing on TV IMO. You could constantly hear shitty rap being blasted between plays up until the very second the ref blows the whistle.

Oh I agree the music is crap. I just don't care. It doesn't have the big of an effect on my experience in Tiger Stadium.

The shitty concessions are a much bigger concern.

Just play some better music and play it during TV timeouts, not between every damn play.

It sounded really bad on TV.

The concessions are garbage I agree. The quality is so awful. I can see why they’d charge what they do if the fricking product was half decent. They serve shite that you can get at a high school football game. Or worse.

At Auburn it was the same thing except it was stuff Like the chainsmokers or other EDM type music. Their sound system is far superior too. Ours is only in the NEZ they don’t have any speakers in the SEZ it sounds like shite

This is a huge part of the whole stadium experience. Everything they broadcast on the TS sound system is so garbled it is just noise. Then you add the extreme base and it sounds like a hoopty going down the road.

This Saturday should be pretty rowdy... Mainly b/c we get a couple extra drinking hours prior to the kick..

Disagree. It has been my experience that those extra 2 hours will actually wear people out by the time the 8:15 kickoff time rolls around.

I mean, it might be raucous during the 1st quarter, but it will die down. By the time 10pm rolls around and it is halftime, the stadium will empty as usual.

They added those screens and upper deck to the SEZ without any new speakers?? It’s stupid.

Agree with this.

The super late kickoff can lull the stadium to sleep and let an opponent back into the game.

I hate the piped-in music, but it seems to me there is less of it since last year. I’m hearing the band more often throughout the game, not just when the offense is on the field or the Chinese Bandits.

Only if...and this is a big IF we're blowing them out or we're getting blown out. I believe the stadium stays full for the most part.. Certainly will be better than this past Sat.

Worse. You can't even get chili and peppers with fricking nachos. It's a disgrace, especially when you look at what similar venues around the country have.

10% of the attendance? Who cares? Would they stop going if they stopped the piped in music?

The horrible sound coming out of the speakers is driving most people away.

First you say the students like it, then you say older people are emptying the stadium. Do you not have the mental capacity to figure that out? Apparently trying to appeal to just the younger crowd is driving 90% of the fans away.
