it seems like Pimpton could have been more of a weapon at WR, especially in the redzone.

So you're saying he has something in common with Orgeron's last two seasons at LSU?

Louisiana colleges weren't even allowed to deal with NIL until legislation passed summer of '22 IIRC.
Zeraux dealt with much less problems, and all his headaches came from partying.

I do actually think there is some sort of balance coaches will have to find to get guys like Pimpton on the field more often to keep them.
How many busted plays can a team survive? Force feeding undeveloped players into the lineup is just injecting known carcinogens into the team and would spread unrest.
Fully learn your position in practice and get your hands dirty (TEs) or ride the pine and get processed.

Why is everyone leaving the team? Wasn't he going to be the starter next season?

Whatever it is, it’s not sustainable to lose the amount of guys we are losing in year 1 and 2

My comment was tongue-in-cheek.

and over time, if nothing changes dramatically, this will be the downfall of college football. It is already happening, but as this continues, fans will become less and less invested in it. You can't tell me that the majority of fans don't see this coming.

Simply put, Pimpton thinks he’s worth more than he is currently earning.

at this level, they all do. It doesn't take much whispering in their ear from a mom who is looking for her own payday.
