Beautiful. I was a student with Mike VI died and the amount of PETAtards that didn't want LSU getting another tiger was hilarious.

Mike is coming up on his 2nd birthday this August.
Props to all the staff that keep our beloved tiger happy and healthy.

I really hope they get him used to Tiger Stadium.
The animal nuts don't know it but Mike V(and predecessors) were trained to roar for the crowd on signal. The stadium didn't bother them at all, as they were acclimated to the noise and scenery.
For example, Mike IV(I think it was IV, as I was young) would let one rip when the trainer would twist his moustache.
The animal rights nuts don't know what the frick they are talking about and they need to let the trainers and vets do what they do. Bring the tradition back!

Those are some cool photos of the coolest mascot on any college campus.

Maybe I’m biased, but I thought Roscoe was much a much better looking tiger.

There should be weekly threads of this type.

Not much is known about the political views of tigers. More research is needed in this area.

Here is a partial list of the famous college mascots allowed to roam the sidelines and end-zones on Saturday afternoon & evenings
Texas- Bevo
Colorado - Ralphie
Tennesee - Smokey
Georgia - UGA
FlaSt - Renegade
Auburn - War Eagle
USC - Traveler
TA&M - Revellie
Army - Ranger & Stryker
Navy - Billy the Goat
Oklahma - Boomer & Sooner
Many of these animals are paraded, run on hot afternoon, flown around chasing a piece of meat on a string, tied with a rope, leash or bits in their mouth to control & manipulate. They crap on the field and present some danger to those on the field.
Yet LSU can’t parade it’s tiger, in a locked cage, on a soft bed of hay, comfortable, not being forced to run the length of the field, no bit in his mouth, not pooping on the field of play & with 10-16 pretty young laddies to accompany him on his journey.
Something is wrong with the system!

Yeah I’m sure a tiger would love being locked in a cage and being screamed at by 100K fans whilst gangsta rap blares from the PA system.
