You need an offense that takes wide splits on the line and has a quick QB and running back to really run spread option well.

Jefferson is not quick at anythign he does. None of our backs are really quick (Ridley may be the quickest of all them), not talking about straight line speed but quickness.

Continuing to run this crap is like begging to be fired.

Also on the stretch option plays, Jefferson has no clue. He never runs down the line like you are supposed to to make the DE commit. He gets too deep like he's rolling out for a pass and it ruins he is too close to the pitch man almost every time. This makes it easy for a single defensive player to shut the play down without committing one way or another.

There is no way Jefferson is executing this well enough in practice to justify keeping in as 40% of our playbook.

Baffling.

Yep. Les needs to fix the QB problem before it impacts recruiting.

Why would any top wide out choose to come to LSU with the current QB situation?

Trovon's commitment to awbarn had nothing to do with our qb situation.

Exactly why is Les getting criticized for this again?

I don't think he is being criticized. Some people think he was the genius behind the change in play calling for the last half of the game. Some definitely think he was calling plays during the game, and this is supposed to be the evidence.

I just think he looks like a lost tourist in that one pic.

"Who do I want to go pick it up?? Send #7, he's pretty quick. What? He's cramped up getting an iv?? Damnit! Well then send #10, he's faster anyway. Tell him to hurry cause I want to run that option play you got the next series. I believe it will work this time!"
