I think it's going to be in between... You can see a little square of color on the shoulders and just a hint of purple down by the knee - just like the Virginia Tech version... except it's not a purple/gold gradient.

Not bad - better than the solid purple look against Kentucky a few years ago. I still wish they'd roll out a gold jersey and purple helmets.

I'm a bit surprised that the "eye" isn't on it somewhere. It looks a bit on the plain side compared to LSU's usual colorful unis.
