Let me clarify. White helmet with the familiar LSU over the tiger head looks bad. I wouldn't mind seeing all white helmet with jersey number on the side

I think it has to be. Funny thing is, from what I'm seeing it looks to be a fairly accurate depiction of what true LSU 'throwbacks' would be based on what I have been told about the 1940's LSU football uniform. Even the striping at the sleeves appears to be what Y.A. Tittle wore.

i dont know why anyone wasnt expecting white and wants to point to fsu's to bitch. im assuming lsu is away(same as ohio state/also white), so why would you expect nike to make a jersey the other team could decline you wearing?

I don't think LSU has really confirmed anything. All of this information comes from Nike websites, and just leaked information on the internet. But if you are looking for a statement on LSUsports.net, don't expect anything until Nov 23.

I actually had a dream the other night that Arkansas was refusing to allow LSU to wear white jerseys for the game, forcing us to wear purple... and screwing up this whole Nike combat thing.

LSU is the home team. SEC rules say that the home team gets to choose what color they wear. The visiting team has to accept this choice (so long as it's an SEC game).
It's why LSU wore purple when playing at Mississippi State - they chose to wear white.

Many of these leaked photos turn out to be correct when the uniform is released. And in a former post about the order that the Nike website shows, the stance of this picture proves to be correct. I knew this was going to suck.
