That's how you make a 35 year old man cry.

Sads.
I do hope they secured his tail before running over it or jamming it into a wall or something. Poor boy's got enough problems.

Let's hope people spend less resources on you.

First, eat a bag of dicks.
Second, Mike has an extremely rare cancer and this is an opportunity to potentially save many human lives down the road by Mike going through this.
Lastly, you can still eat a bag of dicks.

It is true. Everyone loves mike, but a child dying>a large cat.

Show me where a little child is directly affected by this and I'll take it back

it was stated that his treatment is being paid out of lsu sports budget and that the vets and other resources are being used on their own time and after hours. well done.

I know of a place that is selling "Hope for Mike" stickers and the proceeds go to the cancer center but I don't know if it's against the rules to post the link.

Just post it.
If admins don't like it, they'll just remove it. They aren't gonna ban you for something like that.

Good point.
Chicken, Rummy, Fred..... If this isn't within the rules, please remove this post but I thought all Tiger fans would want to know of this.
For my LSU Peeps, as you know, our beloved Mike VI was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer this last week. The link below allows you to purchase one of these #HopeForMike stickers for $5.
All proceeds from the stickers go to the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Baton Rouge, where Mike is receiving treatment. Info regarding this fundraiser was obtained directly from the Mary Bird Perkins Center. This is a great opportunity to raise money for an important cause and to support Mike.

With regard to the "resources".
Radiation therapy, much less the much more sophisticated Stereotactic Radiation (SRT) is almost never given on the weekends. If there is a need for emergent XRT, such as to treat spinal cord compression, more likely another form, like whole field, would be used.
If this was being done during the week and not on a weekend, there would be some reasonable concern that this could be bumping a patient, but it was probably specifically done on a Saturday to avoid that.
Anyone that has ever had someone go through radiation can probably related to the fact that their treatments were by and large M-F.

They are doing this outside of business hours when they wouldn't be treating any humans anyway.
