Phelon showed some average hips and average speed when you got to see him in extensive action last year against Troy... his departure does nothing more than effect our depth at this point ..we'll be fine ..he wasn't even a special teams dynamo

Please tell me we took back the playbook from him when he left? You never know with Lesticles.

I agree. But I thought his performance against even an outmanned Troy team last year was underwhelming. I don't think we are going to be missing much by him leaving.

No, he would have been lucky to make the 3 deep. Even redshirt freshmen were beating him out.

Losing Phelon is a big time loss....this will come back to haunt LSU. Are the wheels coming off?

No, gump, this is Les' way of trying to help AU stick it to Saban and the boys. Now we can say Chizik is beating the gumps with Les' recruits!!!

Another example that Miles has a lot of class. Anyone know if the Auburn coaches actually want this guy on their team?

Gotta ask yourself why Les doesn't have a problem with releasing a kid and letting him go to a rival. The answer is that it must not be that great a loss to LSU and no great gain for Auburn.
Maybe. Or maybe the kid did everything that was asked of him, busted his *ss in practice and was a model player and things just didn't work out for him in BR. Coach Miles, appreciating such hard work and commitmment, lets him go where he wants...even if it's to a SEC-W school.

My last comment to him as an outgoing LSU Tiger: Thanks, Phelon, and good luck to you!
