how often does a player get released for playing time and allowed to go to another in conf team? this doesn't seem to common to me.

if theres any positive in this its that he only gets 2 years at Auburn (assuming he goes there) and that his senior year he would only really be a junior experience wise. I still wish him well in regards to his future.

Well it is the difference between LSU and AU
AU=lots of playing time
LSU=better work your arse off to see the field
With Chizik, this may become more of a commonality

yea just seems odd that we are just letting him walk off. i mean the u and shannon put all kinds of restrictions on marve

Doesn't his transfer have to be approved by Les? It was always my understanding that you could block certain transfers from happening, such as transferring to a rival.

This sucks given the current info. He could bite us in the arse big time. Phelon is not some 2 star lame-o going to Kansas. This guy has always been mentioned on this board as being a starter or contributor next year. Anyone remember who freaking Auburn is?
