We have Badger Hargett from Lafayette…hopefully they scholarship him. He was a top punter out of high school.

His late high school injury did him in.
What was the injury?

Vet school is harder to be accepted than medical school....

I remember him when he signed and it was like he could hit a punt 70yds... but never in the field of play once he got on campus.

He was phenomenal in high school. Not just at booming punts but he also was able to have pretty good touch (I guess that’s what you call it for a punter) at placing punts inside the 10 or even 5 yard line more than I’ve ever seen from a high school punter.
He’s a great young man who represented LSU with class. I hate that he did not have the success that we all thought he would.

How does Todd go from No. 1 punter to no longer being on a roster? Smh

Hell, one time Joe Burrow threw an interception

I dont have many West Monroe connections these days, but that is what I was told. Why did LSU stick with him?
Maybe they thought he'd recover?

Camps aren’t timed, from catch to kick, and I’m just not sure how fast someone who is 6’5” 250 lbs can do that operation. Don’t have much time in the SEC to get it off, and it could just be too rushed for him.

Heard he’s going to ULM. He’s a great kid. I wish him well in life.

Nothing personal against him in my first post. Good luck to him in the future in whatever he chooses to do.

It very well may be more difficult. I know people who have changed their lives when getting last minute phone calls for Vet School openings. They drop everything, move from many states to BTR, and thank the gods for the opportunity.

Aeron Burrell punted at Patkway when he was there. Saw him punt several times. From what I can remember, he had a strong leg and could get it out there pretty far, he'd suffice as a back up if that's the route the coaches want to take.

He got the yips. Only justified reason he routinely shanked punts out of bounds traveling 15 yards or less. His problems had nothing to do with physical ability.

Todd has been working out at West Monroe and plans on entering ULM in the fall.

That's OK....I'm done with NIL football anyway!
And if it gets any worse in baseball I"m done there as well!!

Correct. Great young man. Fantastic all around athlete and incredibly smart. His brother, Parker, is the same way. Harding got them a great LB out of the younger Todd brother.
