tbh, he's not the best band director.

You don't have to. But there are a lot of people who can vouch for his character, so this can let them voice their opinion.

When I was growing up, TGBFTL was legendary and was something to behold. Quite frankly it has been lacking the last 10 years. Whether he is a large part in that or not I wouldn't mind seeing some changes.

I think I'll wait and see. Usually when this attorney who is representing him starts trying her cases to the press, she's got a loser on her hands.

Sure he's not the greatest band director but he's a great person who has given the last 20 or so years to LSU and worked as hard as anyone to make the band what it is. It's a disgrace what they are doing to him.

I am a Tiger Band Alum and I agree. That being said I do feel like the overall quality of the program has been slipping since Linda left. She was the backbone of the organization and when she left a significant part of it left with her

I'll hold off until we find out exactly what's going on. You don't just put somebody on administrative leave after 20 years on a whim.

The thing is its sounding like if they can get rid of him then Tiger band will lose money. Supposedly the school of music wants a piece of the pie that they don't deserve

I'm not pretending to know anything. All I've heard are rumors of funding issues and an alleged witch hunt by his attorney. I'm just saying I'm holding off judgement either way.
