No one expects him (or anyone) to have a 2019 type season again. But as with any high stakes leadership job, you can't rest on your laurels, either. You have to keep succeeding. The only basis for cutting Orgeron slack over the 2020-2021 seasons is the Covid mess of last year. Everything about 2020 deserves a big asterisk (though the Pelini hire raised some big red flags). But it is absolutely on him not to have come into 2021 with a team (including coaches) capable of competing in the SEC West. The fact that he didn't (along with all the extracurricular issues) makes him fair game.

Great story. Thanks... It is so crazy. Coach Zereaux had his mid life crisis meltdown after age 60!!! Guess he did not get enough possum while he was really coaching all those years cause he hasn't actually coached in the past 24 months. Not only don't want to hear him talk anymore, just cant wait for him to be gone. Talk about Penthouse to under the outhouse!
