Okay with that?
Pete Jenkins is from Macon, Georgia. Played at Western Carolina. Coached HS ball in Georgia and Alabama.
Started coaching in college at Troy. Coached at (at least currently) SEC schools in 5 different states, as well as P5 teams in 2 other conferences. During his career, I suspect he has coached over 10,000 HS and college players, between actual assignments, camps, consulting, private individual coaching, etc.
In his 50+ years of coaching, he has spent more than a decade at LSU, primarily coaching the DL. He is, quite possibly, the best assistant coach in CFB history.
Why wouldn't I be okay with a man doing what he does?

How could he not have a conflict of interest working with multiple SEC teams simultaneously?

Pete loves teaching players. That's always ok.

I'm not afraid to say that I don't like it.
We love Jenkins because he's all LSU. Maybe he's not all LSU.
ETA: just read the thread. If we are talking about a camp, this is a non issue. I thought the OP was suggesting he was directly working with the Bama team.

This does raise a question. The consultants who are in vogue now at LSU , BAMA and presumably other schools cannot do any on field coaching as the staffs are limited to I believe 11 or 12 position coaches. Yet, the NCAA allows this type of private coaching. What are the parameters? Is it a one time session , several days etc.?
I know back in the day Dale Brown had Bill Walton work with Shaq, Stanley Roberts and Geert Hammink.

Certain people around here think that old people don't have anything to offer in today's game. Maybe that's what the OP was highlighting. If not I don't know what he's babbling about.
Yeap. Bringing someone in for a week or a few weeks to run a clinic is the same as hiring them to be your full time DL coach.
