Damn sucks for Perkins. Hope for a speedy recovery. In terms of the team at least this happened before the South Alabama game and not the Ole Miss game.

LSU has lost their best RB, DL, and LB and they were expected to finish 5th in SEC without those losses.

It goes to show you how quickly key injuries can completely derail a once promising season. We just seem to have some of the worst luck.

Nah, it’s just that you see what happens at LSU more than you see what happens at TAMU for example. Everyone has injuries, everyone has attrition, everyone has bad breaks.

LSU lost its 3rd best RB and its 3rd best LB. No need to crank up the excuse machine.

It’s a loss, just not an insurmountable or season changing one

We really did mortgage every bit of good fortune for 2019 huh?

I was complicit - at 17-7 in the Dome I uttered the words “I don’t care if we never win another game again after this.”

Prayers for his full recovery and not to affect his draft status...
If his last 8 games went like his first 4, his absolute ceiling is 5th round. In reality an injury changes nothing to his stock. It was already in free fall

He had a few great games as a freshman passing down specialist when he was a free rusher. The rest of his 1.5 seasons are exceptionally average film and mediocre attitude. You get hands on him he's neutralized - a horrible feature of anyone with NFL aspirations at edge/LB

Coupled with not having a natural position, he can at least rest easy knowing the injury isn't making a difference

But he was working into the Star role the last two weeks so that means we're pretty much going to see Major Burns the rest of the year on the field 24/7. Not ideal.

Hopefully Toviano can get out of the doghouse and into that role. He’s reped there in practice and unofficial depth charts show him as the backup Star.

That’s what it looked like.

Too bad for the kid and this team.

Dang it didn't even look like his knee was involved. It looked like his hip or back
