Auburn played Washington St, Arkansas St., Western Carolina, and Florida Atlantic and they are in the BCSNCG. there is no benefit to playing good teams OOC

Yeah, college football teams don't have that fickle RPI looking over their shoulders all season.

Probably not when everyone else is playing cupcakes, correct. Which, is why I added a caveat.
Why certain folks want to constantly defend the current overall SYSTEM of everybody playing a bunch of garbage games is mindboggling to me.

Im not defending it, its just the way things are

I would like to see a schedule of all SEC teams, everyone play SEC teams on a rotating system.

In a pure fan vacuum, I'd love to see a home schedule of say Michigan, Louisville, East Carolina and Tulane. 1 Power team or interesting matchup, another decent BCS team, and a couple of CUSA/SunBelt teams or state teams.
Having said that, I have no desire for LSU to be some kind of martyr and play a schedule that puts us at a disadvantage to our competition. If the system changes, then I hope LSU follows suit, but let's not get crazy.

Move ULM to 9/06. Replace SHS with an average ACC or Pac10 school and play 9/13. That'll do.

Do you pay TAF fees and season ticket fees and get 1/3rd of the actual price per ticket when you sell your shite game tickets for face value?
Cause that would precipitate a different "perfect schedule" than just worrying about a good record.

Because LSU is the home team at a site selected by the LSU Athletic Department.
Not a home game if it's not in Tiger Stadium.
Should not be included in a Home schedule.

Move Wisconsin to TS
No doubt. These two programs should be playing in Baton Rouge and Madison, not Houston and Green Bay. (Lambeau thing doesn't get me as juiced up as some fans. I'd rather go to a campus.)

With the increase in ticket prices, combined with this crappy schedule, I predict historically small crowds. If we can not pack the stadium for the likes of Aubbie, the gators, and the aggies, those crowds will be embarrassing. Then factor in the heat and rain, which seems to be the most favorable excuses for not attending or leaving early & it's going to be bad.

Why not just play Southeastern? SHSU is a game LSU should rethink.

I will more than likely sell my tickets next year and just buy some outside the stadium before the game.

For next year, I am perfectly fine with some "easier" games at the beginning of the season to get new QB and probably WR's comfortable and get some game time under their feet.
If this was a veteran team I would be ok with it.
HOWEVER, I would hope that we find more opponents from BCS conferences that aren't necessarily the best in the league. I would be interested in an LSU-Illinois or LSU vs Indiana, LSU vs NC state, LSU vs Colorado than these games against the ULMs and Sam Houstons of the world.

actually wouldnt look bad if we do away with the nuetral site games. Would give us 8 home games, one against a decent ooc opponent.

Since we have to play Wisconsin in Lambeau, why couldn't we play Wisconsin in the dome? That would definitely be better than Houston. Instead of ULM I want to play USL (the bitter people that call themselves "the University of Louisiana" from the western part of the state)in TS. That blow out would be epic. And then Army in place of SHSU. Even though that game would be boring I think Tiger fans would enjoy seeing.

Sad. Can't wait to write that check! (And oh yea, buy my tickets for Wisconsin)!
